DV Expands Measurement Coverage on Snapchat to Include Sponsored Snaps

DoubleVerify is expanding post-bid measurement coverage to include Sponsored Snaps, a new ad placement within Snapchat’s Chat Feed. This enhancement enables advertisers to measure viewability and fraud/IVT for campaigns running in this high-engagement environment.

Measuring Quality and Performance Across New Inventory

Sponsored Snaps appear as Single Image, Video, or Story Ads directly within the Chat Feed — creating new, high-visibility inventory opportunities for advertisers. With this update, marketers can gain greater confidence that ads are viewed by real people, verified by an independent, third-party measurement provider. 

“At Snap, we’re committed to helping advertisers connect with our community through high-quality media experiences,” said Fintan Gillespie, Global Director of Ad Partnerships. “Expanding our partnership with DoubleVerify to measure Sponsored Snaps ensures advertisers can trust the integrity, viewability, and overall quality of their campaigns within the Chat Feed.”

DV and Snap are finalizing the integration and expect to roll out these new measurement capabilities in the coming weeks.

Strengthening a Long-Standing Partnership

This latest release expands on DV and Snap’s ongoing collaboration to deliver transparent, media-quality measurement across the platform. It builds upon DV’s existing fraud, brand suitability, viewability, and attention measurement already available for Snapchat advertisers.
