DV Expands Media Authentication Coverage on TikTok with New Profile Feed Pre-bid Controls and Pangle Post-Bid Measurement

DV expanded its social media coverage across TikTok inventory with two new enhancements:  Profile Feed exclusion lists on TikTok’s owned and operated inventory and post-bid measurement on the TikTok Pangle ad network. These updates provide advertisers with greater control, confidence and transparency in measurement.

Profile Feed Exclusion Lists: Stronger Brand Suitability on TikTok

DV is introducing Profile Feed exclusion lists, expanding our AI-powered brand suitability controls on TikTok. The Profile Feed placement serves ads within a user’s profile page, appearing after they scroll through organic videos. This placement is designed to reach users while they are viewing specific creator profiles, offering an additional opportunity for advertisers to deliver contextually relevant messaging.

  • Enhanced performance – Prevent ads from appearing next to unsuitable content and creators within TikTok’s Profile Feed, reducing media waste, maximizing ROI, and increasing transparency with personalized brand suitability controls.

  • Operational efficiency – Leverage functionality that auto-refreshes in near real-time, requiring no manual list maintenance.

  • Comprehensive coverage – Combine with DV’s post-bid measurement and insights for end-to-end measurement and controls.

TikTok Pangle Coverage: Independent Third-Party Verification

DoubleVerify is expanding its media authentication coverage across TikTok inventory with the addition of Pangle in the coming weeks — the ad network for TikTok for Business.

Pangle is accessible through TikTok Ads Manager and, according to TikTok, connects marketers with more than 380,000 global apps. With this expansion, advertisers gain greater confidence and transparency when running campaigns on mobile app inventory.

  • Brand suitability insights – Verify that ads appear alongside brand-suitable mobile applications on the Pangle network.

  • Comprehensive viewability coverage – Measure viewability across video ad placements on Pangle.

In April 2025, DV expanded its brand suitability offering for TikTok to include pre-bid video exclusion list.
